»Jack in the box« is a non-profit association for the development and testing of innovative ideas to promote employment.
Within the Passagen 2008 in Cologne, they presented the »Koelnerbox«. The project represents the main idea of »Jack in the box«: Old, unused, damaged or defective products are transformed into new objects with new functions and a new value. The »Koelnerbox« focuses on the upcycling of an old cargo container into a new, well designed office.
