Technically Vietnamese Propaganda Art is unique. While posters were used elsewhere, in Vietnam an even cheaper medium was used. The artists were commissioned to paint political and social posters, the slogans they were given. These illustrations are copied around the country on boards used over and over again. Although they are all original paintings, not mass produced copies.
